A Little About CFUW London

CFUW London Club was founded on May 15, 1920 and now has a diverse membership. We meet montly in London Ontario to discuss items of common interest, listen to guest speakers, consider local and international issues and share in friendship.

Our Purpose is:

  • To stimulate interest and participation in political, social advocacy and cultural activities;
  • To promote high standards of public education and to encourage advanced study and research;
  • To encourage understanding and international cooperation among (university) graduates

We meet at the Station Park All Suite hotel (242 Pall Mall St. at Richmond) on the second Wednesday evening of each month from September to May. Our meetings are open to the public. A typical meeting features a speaker, refreshments and a short business meeting. London Club publishes regular newsletters and an Annual Report for members each year. Our interest groups reflect the diverse interests of the members.

We welcome new members. Do come and visit us. The club can be reached for further information through our email address.

We are a chapter for the national CFUW organization.

Why I Joined CFUW

CFUW has always been there for me when I needed it. When I was a busy mother, CFUW expanded my horizons and taught me self-confidence. Later, when I moved to another city, I knew where to go to find a warm welcome and many new friends. Norma Exley
